Annuals are beautiful long blooming flowering plants that bloom for one season, May-August. Around May 15th is our area's frost-free date. This date insures that it is save to plant your annuals out doors for the season. Annuals thrive during the late spring, summer and early fall months and will die when the frost returns. Annuals need to then be replanted every year. 

Perennials are the heart or foundation of your garden. Once they are established, they are low maintenance, carefree, rugged plants that thrive for many years. These wonderful plants are also know as “herbaceous perennials” or plants which die back and go dormant in the fall and then jump up in the early spring-summer. Most perennials are able to be divided and produce more plants like Hostas and Daylily. Others will produce seeds and with the help of wildlife they are born. We currently grow over 1000 varieties of perennials. Plants that are commonly seen to Natives to those hard to find rare specimens.
